Unlocking Doors to the Creative Soul

So, I saw this cute idea the other day where this girl took a small pieces of paper and wrote on each one the titles of all the books she read during the year. On one page of paper she glued all of the titles in a cute way and she ended up adding a new page each year. I thought that was such a cute way of keeping track of what you read!

I am not a list-maker. But today I took time to write three lists down and I have to say, I am quite excited about it. The lists are small, but of course, I intend to add to some of them. The first list I made was a schedule for my summer daily routine. I have summers off and it is amazing how much time I can waste. So, I created a daily schedule so I accomplish those things I really do want to get done. The next list was a list entitled  "Life lessons I Taught My Third Graders" (and now my first graders). Each day in school life lessons are taught in small ways, and I sometimes forget all of the life lessons that I weave in and out in a given day. The third list was just a list I entitled "Becca's Work Projects List" of all the things that need to get done in the next few days. The last list is entitled "Becca's Artful Projects for the Creative Soul" and it is a list of all the creative projects I want to do this summer. I planned for 30 minutes a day to work on my creative projects. There are sooo many things I want to do! (Including the scrap booking project I mentioned above!)  Now to follow through!
